Elias's Journey to the Olympics

Hey Guys!
As some of you might have guessed I am raising some money to be able to pay for the hotels and the plane tickets to be able to compete for my team around the country.
But before, let me tell you about myself. My name is Elias Bazan, I am a 15 year old rower at Miami Rowing Club also known as MRC. I started rowing right after Irma had struck Miami and I've been loving the sport ever since. On my first year, i've been told that I had potential by my coaches and friends who have been rowing a little bit longer than I. Ever since I've been on a boat with my partner Nicolas Nadal (that you can see in the picture behind me) we never lost a race! On my first year of rowing, I won the Florida Sweeping State Championship with the help of 3 other friends of mine. A year after I won (again) the title of Florida Sculling State Champion and I was officially qualified for Regional Championship which occurred in Oak Ridge, Tennessee which was about a month after. After practicing for hours and hours without end, the day finally came for us to race and try to qualify for finals the day after. We qualified for finals with a 6:49!!! for those who don't know thats really good for 15 year olds. We went back at the hotel and slept before the big final the day after. Woke up, ate breakfast and time to race. Starting the get to the starting line and you can feel the pressure slowly but surely filling up our minds, and out of nowhere we were already racing. the start was pretty rough but we made it back and lead the race until the end. Regional Champion!!! and on our way to Nationals. Crying of joy and for once just wanted to go back to hot ,humid Miami. Unfortunately, Nationals did not go as well since we placed fourth against 18 year olds but we are planning on coming back stronger than ever.
Now that you know a little bit more about me I would love if you could donate a little bit of money since we all know that money can be little tight sometimes and let me tell you that even 5$ will help me to get to Nationals and who knows maybe the Olympics.
Thank you so much for your time and donation,
Sincerely,
Elias Bazan
