Elijah Ben Y'shua Benbow Memorial Fund
My name is Rachael Banta, and I am writing my first Go Fund Me on behalf of my dear friend Neisha, and her family. They're very near and dear to my heart, and on Sunday, August 9th their hearts were broken upon being awakened by a Puyallup Police Chaplin informing them of their 36 yearold son Eljjah’s untimely passing after being struck by an SUV on Hwy 104. Elijah was on his way to visit his brother Robert's new
home in Silverdale, when he communicated to him via text that he was lost and would be a little late. This would be his last communication. It’s
been pieced together that after that he ran out of gas, and lost service on his phone, so he parked his car and began walking for assistance.
This series of events lead to the tragic accident that claimed his life.
Elijah leaves behind two beautiful children, 13 year old Kayla and 9 year old Amryn. Being their father and providing for them was his entire
reason for getting up every morning, and they are the reason for this Go Fund Me. The family plans to resourcefully utilize the funds to lay Elijah
to rest, and the remainder will be placed into an account allotted to provide the children with childhood essentials that are often gone without
when a single mom is struggling to provide. The vision for this is counseling, extra- curricular activities, camp, school clothes, braces, etc...
Elijah comes from an incredible family of believers, and God has placed a call on their hearts to organize intentional efforts to insure
hischildren are taken care of emotionally, physically, mentally, and spiritually throughout the years.
With all of this said, I know times are so very tough for many right now. So, it’s with all humility I ask that if you are moved to contribute even the
smallest amount, collectively we will raise enough to make a difference for these children. Thank you so much for taking the time to read
this. I truly believe we need one another more than ever, and being so close to this family’s crushing loss impressed upon me that all the ebbs and flows of life are still happening alongside the many challenges we are navigating on the world stage. And the solution for ALL of it is to trust that God is with us on every mountain top, and in every valley. We are never forsaken, because His Spirit is alive in our hearts, and it is at work in all
the details healing this broken world.
I love and am so grateful for each and every one of you.
With Gratitude,
~Rachael Banta~
