Elijah Booth: Mission Discovery fund

If you're reading this then you probably know who I am, but if not I will give you a very short introduction. My name is Elijah Booth I have just turned 14, am almost 6ft tall and have hair that you won't forget for a while. I have many passions in life but as most of you may know my main one is space and particularly aerospace engineering, I'm obsessed morning, noon and night. This passion is my whole life. At 13 I went on a path to create my own company and build my team to help me on my mission. Starshot Aerospace was born we aim to provide commercial space tourism and satellites to the average person being as cheap as possible. A year later I have 14 volunteers helping me on my journey (I pay them in snacks)
As you can imagine access to space related things in Devon is slim. There is an opportunity at Kings College London to join their summer camp, called Mission Discovery, I feel the education and knowledge I will learn will really help me with what I want to do. This will also enable me to meet with the right kind of people who understand how strong my passion is, and who can guide me in the right direction.
I'm here asking you for help to fund something that potentially could be life changing for me. I don’t expect a lot from anyone as I know times are really hard at the moment.
See below for a summary of what you will be contributing to from the website.
Mission Discovery - 5 Day Summer School
At Mission Discovery, we provide a unique opportunity for you to connect with fellow visionaries, gain insights from NASA astronauts, and collaborate on a project that could launch to the International Space Station.
Over the 5 day summer school, you'll grow in confidence, learn essential life skills and learn how to turn your ambitions into a reality. You'll make amazing new friends, take inspiration from the world of space exploration and let your imagination soar.
Mission Discovery is a one-of-a-kind experience that you won't want to miss!

How does it work?
• We'll team you up to design a space experiment that could benefit humankind.
• Our team of astronauts, NASA Leaders and world-renowned professors will give you the tools and skills needed to complete your mission.

• The team with the best idea will see it built at NASA and launched to the International Space Station.
