Help Me (Elijah Bush) Go To Music Camp!

Dear family and friends,

Five months ago I auditioned for Interlochen music camp in Michigan. I am super excited because I just found out that I got in! It’s competitive, and I didn’t think I’d get accepted. I’m really happy about this opportunity but now I’m trying to figure out how to actually get there.

Interlochen is internationally known and many famous musicians have gone there like Josh Groban, Norah Jones, Jewel, and actors Ed Helms, Meredith Baxter Burney and Terry Crews, plus 13% of all professional musicians who play in philharmonic orchestras in the US. I really think this school will help improve my musical skills!! Also it would probably be a lot of fun making friends with artists and musicians during the 3 weeks I’d be at camp!

I have a scholarship to go to Interlochen that covers about 60% of it but I would still need about $3600 for the rest of the expenses (remainder of room and board, tuition, and transportation costs). I am trying to earn money from family to pay for as much as I can, and will deduct that from the total needed as I get money (earned $30 yesterday!).
