Hi everyone,

My name is Joe Drago and I am starting a GoFundMe due to losing our beloved brother, Eli. He was truly a blessing in all our lives—emitting endless love and kindness with everyone he crossed paths with. The intention behind this fundraiser is to provide financial ease to his grieving loved ones, as they now need to allocate funding for funeral and burial costs. Additionally, there will be funding necessary to transport our brother from Las Vegas to New York. Any contribution is greatly appreciated during this difficult time. We only wish to give our brother a formal burial in a proper way. This very sudden tragedy has us all in deep sorrow and will forever have him in our hearts. This is for you my brother. May you rest in peace.

UPDATE # 1

Hello everyone I am Ann Gutman. I am Elijah’s Nani. I have been named beneficiary of his go fund me account. I was named this so I can begin to take the allocated funds to pay for all of his services. Elijah will be transported from Las Vegas back home to NY tomorrow. We have chosen Whalen & Ball funeral home to care for him and begin to plan his service. It was important that we chose to do this in Yonkers. Elijah loved Yonkers, he was raised out here and it is a part of him. We wanted all his friends and family to be able to attend. Following his services we will have a re-pass, a celebration of life in his honor!

Once we have the dates and times set up we will make another update.

Update #2

Hi Everyone, it’s Joe Drago. I wanted to inform you that I have named Ann Gutman, Elijah grandmother as beneficiary. We have been asked by Go fund me to inform you “our” contributors of this information and how we will use the funds. Once funding is cleared by go fund me, Ann will then be able to withdraw and use the funding to pay for transport of our brother Elijah back home from Las Vegas, Nevada to NY. Upon arrival Whalen and ball funeral home in Yonkers, NY. will then pick up & transport Elijah to their facility.

Only then can Ann & family begin making their plans for his service and choose a cemetery and plot since payment is due prior to services. Again all donations will cover all typical fees that are associated with a funeral. If anyone has any questions please feel free to reach out to Joe or Ann.
