Go Fund Me Elijah Hoover
Donation protected
Elijah Mark Hoover, a beloved boyfriend, son, brother, uncle, and friend, suddenly passed away on the morning of December 22nd, 2021. His passing came as a complete shock to all of his friends and family and they are deeply saddened and immensely grieving his loss. He was only 25 years of age and he had so much left to do with his life that he missed out on. Unfortunately, this is the second child his parents have lost and the second family member that has passed away this year.
In addition to the unimaginable hurt of losing another child, his family is also left with settling his final affairs and financial obligations, as Elijah did not carry any life insurance (he did not get to the planning stage of his life). The family has received a tremendous amount of outreach from all that knew him and have been asked by many: "What can we do to help?". After reflecting on this, they have decided the best help to them would be in the form of donations to help with the final expenses. More importantly, the family wants to establish an Elijah Hoover memorial fund for his passion of dirt bikes to help others enjoy the sport. This way he will be remembered long term.
About two years ago Elijah had the foresight to sign up to be an organ and tissue donor, which has been carried out already. In his death he was able to help save other's lives. Elijah was known for his sense of humor, his kindness, and generosity. He had a big heart and would often help out complete strangers who were in need. If someone were stranded on the side road he would help with them getting their tires repaired, bring them gas and get them back on the road. Elijah was also very sociable and was well liked by everyone. He always accepted everyone just as they were and never wanted anyone to feel left-out.
One of Elijah's biggest passions and hobbies was dirt bike riding, including racing and competing. He competed at the local and national level, winning several medals and trophies. For the past two years he also very much enjoyed bowling and he was a part of two leagues, which he made several friends. Another thing he loved was golfing and animals (he had two dogs, Bailey and Reese).
Everything raised above the final expense costs will be used to create this fund in Elijah's honor. Please help us remember and honor Elijah's life as well as support his family by giving to his GoFundMe.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 5 at 4pm at 2425 W. Ina Rd at the Ina Road Church of Christ.
