Elijah Money's top surgery

We are Maya and Seth and we want our gorgeous friend Elijah Money to have his gender-affirming dreams come true. Eli has been trying to get top surgery for the last few years and this GoFund Me can help make that happen.

Eli is a Wiradjuri brotherboy who is an integral pillar of the Trans and Blak Community in Naarm. He regularly participates in Community care, mutual aid, sharing his artistic gifts and helps those around him endlessly. His freelance work means income can be sporadic and unreliable and is an extra hurdle when saving for this necessary surgery. Anyone who knows him knows that he is incredibly generous and never expects anything in return.

Gender-affirming care should be accessible to anyone who needs it, however is still incredibly expensive and gatekept. He’s tried for years to start the unnecessarily bureaucratic process of obtaining gender-affirming surgery, which is particularly challenging as a neurodivergent person with ADHD. This whole process will be made so much easier once the finances for the surgery are secured.

He would never ask for this himself and so (with his blessing) we ask you to donate what you can or share if you don’t have the financial means to give right now. All of the money received will go directly toward surgeon/recovery/hospital fees and can help Eli move through the world safely and comfortably. We want nothing more than our friend to thrive in his body.
