Hello Dear Friends and Family. My name is Jillian and I had the honor of being Elijah Waters' aunt. We are raising funds for his family as they are planning his memorial services and taking time off of work to be together and mourn his passing.
Elijah was a beautiful, gentle, kind, smart and talented young man. He was tragically taken from this life in an accident on 4/12/2023. He had just celebrated his 16th birthday on 4/9, which was Easter Sunday. Elijah loved life and everyone loved Elijah. He was mechanically minded, and had a passion for his muscle cars, RC cars, and inventing things. He worked at Chick fil A, and was already being promoted to be a trainer. His coworkers described him as kind, funny and happy. It was a joy to be in his presence.
Elijah loved babies and little children. He would always be holding the babies at family gatherings, and the kids all adored him. He was so fun to have conversations with and had a wonderful sense of humor. He was always up for a snuggle or hug.
Elijah was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He had a beautiful testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ, and knew he was a son of God. He had plans to serve a mission when he was 18, and we now know he is serving the Lord in heaven.
He is remembered by his mother, Alexis, father, Justin, and three loving younger brothers, Tyson, Bennett and Grayson. Elijah was loved and treasured by his family, and he knew how loved he was, and still is. We have already seen his beautiful ways of communicating his love to his family from the other side. His grandmother, Maya, passed away in 2018 and her grandchildren were her greatest joy. Elijah was her first grandson, and she was there at his birth, and was absolutely there to greet and embrace him joyfully when he went to his Heavenly Home. As well as his other family members who went before him.
We thank you for your contributions, prayers, love and friendship.
