Elin's campaign for Help Musicians

I am a respiratory consultant and viola player, and have set up this fundraiser with the support of musical friends and colleagues. Throughout the COVID pandemic, many musical medics have been on the NHS frontline and beyond, providing care and support to patients, families and colleagues. We feel so lucky to have been able to continue to work. We have continued to be paid, but so many of our musician friends have not. We are raising money to support musicians so that when live music comes back into our lives it is as vibrant and restorative as ever.

We hope that soon you will be able to listen in to a performance from our online orchestra via #medicsformusicians on Twitter - and if you enjoy what you hear, give as much or as little as you like. Or simply pledge to buy a ticket to hear live music as soon as it returns.
