Eli's PreMed Student Experience

Donation protected
Eli Keefer-McGee was fascinated by biology and the workings of the human body from his earliest days. As a preschooler, his favorite toy was a model of the human eyeball. It sat next to him on the couch when he watched tv and had to be tucked in at night with its own blanket. In first grade Eli he was fascinated by cells. He spent his winter holiday creating a book of cell diagrams.

Eli's ultimate dream is to become a physician to work with Doctors Without Borders and later return to the Grayson County area to set up his own practice.

This year, as a junior, Eli was nominated by his Biology teacher to enroll in the 2017 National Youth Leadership Forum:  Medicine.  He has paid his deposit but still needs the remaining fees and funds to pay for his travel.  The program payment dates are May 1 and June 1. The dates of the program are July 8-16, 2017 or July 22-30, 2017.

Your support would allow Eli to spend nine amazing days at Babson College in Boston, MA, that will put him on the path to a career in medicine and health care.  He will join other high school students from around the country for the extraordinary opportunity to learn from and interact with subject matter experts while gaining invaluable hands-on experience.
