Elisa D Hinojosa Memorial and Medical Fund
About a month ago Elisa became ill and was diagnosed with Covid-19. She was quickly admitted into the hospital and spent the majority of her days in the Intensive Care Unit. She strongly fought for 34 days but on that 34th day, October 25th, 2020, at 01:38 in the morning, myself and her children held her hands as God accepted her into his arms.
Elisa is no longer in any pain from this horrible virus. She now walks with the Lord and is our most beautiful guardian angel. Our family would like to thank every single one of you for the countless prayers and support you have given to Lisa and us during these difficult times. I, Randy, am really moved to see how many people she has touched throughout her lifetime by reading all of the stories and memories y’all are sharing. However, I am not surprised. “That’s my girl!” Lisa and I have been together for 26 wonderful years. She’s my best friend. My partner. My Wife. Mother to my children Krista, Liana and Joshua. And “Mas” to my grandchildren, AdieLynn and RaeLynn. Elisa has always been a genuine lover to all around her. She immediately makes everyone feel loved and cared for no matter how long she knew you. Her presence lights up a room and her hugs make you feel like home. Her “Boss Lady” mentality inspires so many. Like with many of you, we had an amazing life together. I’ll miss that beautiful smile that was beyond contagious. That smile caused me to kiss her forehead every morning before we parted our ways for the day. I didn’t know I would lose her this soon but the Lord has another Angel by his side. The love of my life, Elisa Dempsey Hinojosa.
Because of the unforeseen loss of Elisa and how quickly it arose, we are humbly asking to raise money for her funeral costs and medical bills. So far, we have estimated about $10,000. (not including her medical bill as we haven’t received it yet.) We are planning to have the ceremony live streamed for all who would like to attend. We can’t even begin to express how much any amount of a donation or share of this post would mean to us. We are forever grateful for your kindness and support.
