Elise and Matt Sizemore YWAM DTS

We are excited to announce that the Sizemores are moving to New Zealand in January 2017! We will be doing a YWAM (Youth With A Mission) DTS (Discipleship Training School) in Queenstown, NZ for 5 months, and then hopping over to Australia for 5-6 months to work with some other YWAM business ministries on the Sunshine Coast.
Long story short, we have been talking about doing this for over a year. In January of 2016, God finally gave us the courage to say yes to this dream of living abroad. It took us a while to figure out what we'd be doing in New Zealand, but God lead us to this awesome YWAM program that will allow us to learn what it's like to do ministry together as a married couple for the first time in our marriage. We are excited about the adventure, the risk, the simplicity of living with less, and especially the opportunity to grow spiritually together and get to know God better.
This next season of ministry will be very different for us. We will be testing out some dreams we've had for a long time and seeing what God has for us next; but we cannot do this without you. Will you pray for us? Will you partner with us in bringing the hope of God’s love to the nations? Will you be a part of this crazy, year-long journey with us as we discern God’s calling on our marriage?
In order to make this DTS happen, Matt and I need to raise between $18,000 and $20,000 total (about $9K-10K each). This will cover the lecture fees, outreach costs (flights, food, housing, etc.), and visa requirements (we need to have enough money in our account when we enter the country to purchase flights back—otherwise they won’t let us in). It will also help us get settled in Australia after our DTS is done.
If you would like to support us in prayer, here are a few things you can be praying for:
· For our visas to be approved quickly and painlessly
· For all the moving parts that come with moving and living abroad: selling cars and furniture, quitting jobs, packing, leaving our dog with our parents, saying goodbyes, etc.
· For our fundraising and preparation for this crazy year of being on the other side of the world
