Elite Touch Owner Aaron McClure needs our help!

Hey guys, if you have been around the Orem Ken Garff stores as long as I have, 15+ years, you know who Aaron is. He is the most dependable, friendly, and highly talented car painter! He has gone above and beyond for our service and sales departments, fixing almost anything regarding new and used cars. We are so grateful to have him as part of our team and to call him a great friend!

Unfortunately, he started feeling sick a few weeks back. After multiple extended hospital stays and transfers, with different teams of specialists trying to help him, he finally wound up at the University of Utah Hospital, fighting an aggressive, lethal, fungal infection in his sinuses and eye socket. Many surgeries have been performed to save his life. Numerous MRIs, CT scans, sinuses scraped, dead tissue and bone removed, injections behind and flushing of the right eye, constant IVs filled with antibiotic and antifungal solutions, and non-stop eye tests to ensure he wasn't blind for life. Most importantly, to stop the fungus from entering his brain.

Things are finally looking up, and tests are tapering off as his body recovers. He may be discharged soon as long as there are no more surprises. They must be sure that the fungus has been eradicated completely, or all this effort will be for nothing since it can spread in days if not hours. Fingers crossed!

If you have had a family member or friend end up in the hospital, then you know that the cost can be unbelievable. We would like to help Aaron get back on his feet while recovering from this traumatic and unforeseen event that has disrupted his life and livelihood. He is part of the Ken Garff family, and we can't wait to see him at our stores again! Let's help him move on to the next chapter of his life! Any little bit helps!
