Liz the Bulldog puppy needs YOUR HELP TODAY!
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Amanda, and I am fundraising to help Liz, my ten-month-old bulldog. She recently broke her upper right leg in a spiral or splinter break that will not heal on its own and will forever bring hardship and constant pain. The best emergency Vet Technicians have seen her at the Northeast Indian Veterinary Emergency Specialty Hospital, experts who know the pros and cons of an injury like this. Even with an $8,000 surgery to insert a metal plate and four screws, there would be no guarantee of success or further complications. Under the advisement and second opinion we obtained at the Aboit Animal Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana we have decided that amputation is the best route. The decision to amputate is not easy; this has been a very challenging experience for her. All she has been through has been a reminder of how quickly everything can change, but with YOUR help TODAY, even a small donation can give LIZ back her very best LIFE. At ten months, she has only just begun to experience the joys of life and living; without this surgery, the quality of her life would be questionable.
100% of the money raised will go to her expenses at NIVES Hospital and the Aboit Animal Hospital. The amount she needs includes the emergency care she already received: initial exam, pain medication, sedation, three x-ray views of her leg, and take-home meds, as well as the care she so desperately awaits; exam, pain meds, sedation iv and fluids, the cost of surgery, bandages, follow-up exams and aftercare.
Thank you from my family and from Liz, who has all the hope, love and desire to be the very best, happiest bulldog she can be.
