Hi, my name is Amanda, and I am fundraising to help Liz, my ten-month-old bulldog. She recently broke her upper right leg in a spiral or splinter break that will not heal on its own and will forever bring hardship and constant pain. The best emergency Vet Technicians have seen her at the Northeast Indian Veterinary Emergency Specialty Hospital, experts who know the pros and cons of an injury like this. Even with an $8,000 surgery to insert a metal plate and four screws, there would be no guarantee of success or further complications. Under the advisement and second opinion we obtained at the Aboit Animal Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana we have decided that amputation is the best route. The decision to amputate is not easy; this has been a very challenging experience for her.
