They say the front row of a funeral feels different….

Unfortunately, my assistant Elizabeth Delacruz knows that feeling now, after losing her significant other.

Friday, Jan 27th around 4:00 pm Clinton messaged his family and said he wished they were with him.

He had taken off for the night to go crabbing and kayaking in Bodega Bay.

Just a couple of hours after that message, around 6:00 pm the Coast Guard was called because the tide had taken him out.

That would be the last time he was heard from.

Clinton is the significant other of my assistant Elizabeth Delacruz. She’s more than an assistant to me, she is a partner and family. Even though she’s been working with me for over 13 years now, many of you have never met her, however, she is not only my left hand but also my right at times.

She is the reason why I can be a present father while giving my time to the industry so freely educating. She keeps everything running and the team functioning at its highest level. I would not be able to do what I do without her, this company would not be what it is today.

Clinton leaves behind Elizabeth, their son Nohea, and Kailey.

Kailey, Clinton’s daughter from a previous relationship, just lost her mother in 2021. She does have an amazing grandmother, locally and uncles that will be there for her through this transition, however, Elizabeth has been and will be home base for her.

There’s nothing I will not do for her and the kids.

I am asking the industry as a whole to help me take the financial stress off of her while they mourn, so they can keep their house in Brentwood and she can make sure their daughter is taken care of in College next year.

If anything I’ve ever done in this industry has helped you, I am asking as a personal favor, to help me provide a just little cushion for them as they navigate the upcoming chapters of their lives.

The money will go directly to Elizabeth Delacruz to help her navigate the unforeseen expenses and be the sole provider now for herself and the kids.
