Elizabeth Elkerton Memorial Fundraiser

My mum sadly passed away suddenly & unexpectedly on the 10th August 2021 at the age of 65.

Whilst this is well and truly the darkest time in my life I need to try and focus on something positive, with this in mind I have decided to enter the Coventry Half Marathon on the 31st October and raise funds in her memory by doing so.

The charity all proceeds will go towards will be the Nuneaton Wildlife Sanctuary, my mum was a great lover of animals of all kinds and often praised the great work Geoff and his team at the Sanctuary do without any Government funding.

The aim for Geoff is to extend his current plot so he can continue to take in sick and wounded animals that otherwise would be put to sleep.
