Elizabeth Gonzalez-Salazar Medical Funds

Liz Gonzalez is married to Josh Salazar and they have a three year old daughter. On June 8th, 2019 the couple had their second child. she went in for a scheduled C section and shortly after the procedure started, the doctors encountered problems.  Right after the C section, she had to undergo a second high risk surgery that ended up with her losing seven liters of blood. Doctors said she was lucky to be alive. Five days later she got discharged from the hospital and headed home.  Two weeks after being home, Liz started having excruciating abdominal pain making it almost impossible to move. After holding the pain for a couple days she could not take it anymore and had her husband Josh take her to the hospital. She has been admitted for five days and everyday the doctors are saying something different. Liz has been fighting urine leaking through her abdominal cavity as well as a sepsis infection. Doctors believe her left Ureter is damaged but due to a swollen kidney filled with fluid, They cannot make a final determination. Liz is scheduled to undergo surgery in about two weeks after the doctors can get another CT scan once the swelling in her left kidney goes down. Throughout this entire time her husband Josh has been off work taking care of their newborn and three year old daughter. He has used all his paid time off and sick days to be home. He is unable to work and it has been tough for their family to maintain. The family is only asking for anything that will help them with bills and medical expenses. Prayers would be a blessing as she and her family continue through this tough journey.
