Elizabeth has lost everything in an apartment fire

My daughter Elizabeth has lost everything in an apartment fire on 03/12/24. She managed to get out and save her two cats and her dog. They are not allowed back into the building to retrieve anything and we are going through the process to secure her another apartment, furniture and necessities. She managed to grab a pair of jeans and two shirts, but that is about it. She is out of the car situation right now and has an Air BNB until Sunday night while we work through trying to find her another home.

Hi, everyone. Sooo my apartment building caught on fire this morning and now myself, and three animals (2 cats and 1 dog) are stuck living in my car. We are all okay, thank god, but aren’t allowed back until who knows when. I don’t have the financial means to secure emergency housing through airbnb or a local hotel and it’s been impossible to find anything given my situation with my animal babies. We can’t be separated due to my first cat having severe anxiety around other people since we rescued him from being outside for days as a kitten. I’ve exhausted all of my local resources with the Red Cross, various church organizations, renters insurance, you name it. We haven’t received much help and I’m kind of at a loss at this point. If anyone has literally any idea what we can do at this point or any steps in any direction for me to take I would just really appreciate it. I don’t have any idea where to go from here. Or just send me good thoughts because I’d take those right now too.

Edit: in a pet friendly Airbnb for a few days but have no idea what’s going to happen after that this was not on my bingo card, I’ll tell ya what.
