Elizabeth Hoover SAE Paddy Murphy 2023

Dear friends and community,

We are reaching out to you today to support a mother and fellow teacher in our community who has recently been diagnosed with lung cancer. Elizabeth Hoover is a high school Language Arts teacher at Wellsboro Area Highschool. She graduated from Susquehanna University. She still holds the Javelin record for the school. She is a loving mother to her two sons Evan and Casey and a prominent member of the Wellsboro community. She coaches track and field and is also a ski patrol member at Ski Sawmill. As you can imagine, this news has been devastating for her and her family.

Despite the difficult road ahead, Elizabeth is determined to fight and beat this disease. She is a strong, loving, and caring member of our community, and we want to do everything we can to support her in this journey.

Sigma Alpha Epsilon’s biggest event of the year is coming up soon - Paddy Murphy Week. This philanthropy event is a week-long event that raises money for a great cause; we are grateful to be able to raise money for a member of our community this year that is in need of our help.

We are asking for your help in raising funds to support her medical expenses, treatment, and other related costs. Every contribution, no matter how small, will go a long way in helping this mother and her family during this challenging time.

We believe that as a community, we can come together to show our love and support for this family. Your generosity and kindness will make a real difference in their lives.
