Elizabeth Schuth Study Abroad Fund!

This summer I picture myself peering through the archaic windows of a Spanish cathedral, hiking through the mountains of the Asturias, and wandering down the idyllic streets of Oviedo, Spain, all with the help of your donation.

I've been offered the opportunity through Indiana University's Honors Program in Foreign Language (IUHPFL) to spend six weeks living with a host family and attending classes in Oviedo, Spain. This program focuses on total immersion as well as community connections allowing me to use my language skills to create new relationships.

While in Oviedo, I will be able to experience the Spanish language beyond the words of a textbook and discover the lives and culture behind what I've learned in the classroom. I'm excited not only to improve my language skills but to learn more about new cultures and customs as well. I've been working hard through my job as a swim instructor to raise money, but any donation you'd be willing to give to my cause is greatly appreciated.
