Save Elk Mountain Horses from Auction

Elk Mountain Dude ranch was purchased a year ago; the new owners are liquidating the horses (34) and sent them to auction in PA (KS Select Horses). These horses are nice horses. Trained and treated very well. Some of these horses are older they don't deserve the possible fate they could get if not purchased at this auction. Emma Van Nostrand is a horse trainer and former trail hand at Elk Mountain. She kindly offered to take 8-10 (selecting the ones most likely not to get purchased and ensuring their safety). She will take them to her ranch and work to find them a soft landing.

Collecting funds to acquire, transport and feed these horses till they can find a home.
