Ellē Employee Relief Fund

On Wednesday, March 18, Ellē closed its doors to our neighborhood and the public. In the midst of this pandemic, all we and our colleagues want to do is continue to work, but we’ve come to the decision that remaining open puts our staff, our guests, our vendors, and the general public at risk.

As a restaurant with razor thin margins, we’re struggling to adequately care for our people. Many of us have children, live without health insurance, live with chronic health conditions, and more. Because of this, some aren’t able to access relief, and social programs like unemployment just aren’t enough.

We’re asking anyone who’s ever enjoyed a Breakfast Sandwich, a Guava Turnover, a Kimchi Toast, a Country Loaf, or a Kasugai Special to help us out if you can. We know that not everyone is in a position to help, but for those that can, we appreciate your contribution more than you know.

100% of proceeds from this fund, and from gift card sales, will go directly to our staff to help with necessities. We will focus specifically on staff who are more vulnerable during this crisis. This fund will not go to our owners, or to any operational or business-related costs. This is for our staff, the heart and soul of Elle.
