Ellen Cohen

I'm fundraising for my Mom / Bubby, Ellen Elaine Cohen, who passed away on March 13th, while in Geneva, Switzerland.

Ellen passed away while attending a conferences at the United Nations about diversity, mental health, inclusivity and disabled rights, a topic she was fiercely passionate about. She loved people and loved to speak up for those who didn't have a voice. Ellen leaves behind her beloved daughter, Ilana and the lights of her life, her grand son's Maxim and Oliver.

We are all devastated by the loss and were not prepared for the high cost of a funeral service. We want to give Ellen the memorial she deserves, to honour her memory and say our last goodbyes.

I am currently asking for donations to help cover the cost of Ellen’s funeral. We need to raise $20,000 by March 22 in order to be able to afford the funeral service.
