ELLEN IS BEING EVICTED AFTER 23 YEARS !

Donation protected

Hi, my name is Patrick and I am helping fundraise for Coconut Grove's fairy-godmother and my dear friend, Ellen. We are kindly asking for donations to help Ellen and her service animal Emi relocate to a new forever home. After 23 years of residing in her Coconut Grove home, her landlord sent her an unexpected Eviction Notice for reasons out of her control.

With this short notice and nowhere to go, Ellen and Emi are overwhelmed and devastated for being forced to move out. For the past 23 years, Ellen has been an exceptional tenant, always paying rent on time and with no issues.

Ellen, a Miami native, has been a resident of Coconut Grove for the past 40 years. She is a true gem of what the "Old Grove" once was - and what we must work to preserve. It will be a shame if they sell to a developer and knock down this historic house to build more box-like mini mansions off of Main Highway... or even worst - a high rise apartment complex.

Ellen is grateful for your prayers and generosity. Emi, a rescue dog Ellen saved as a puppy just turned four years old this year; and all Ellen aspires for is to provide her with a safe home with a yard to play in.

In October 2024, Ellen will be celebrating her 70th birthday. Few of you know this, but Ellen has a rare ear disorder called meunière disease which causes unexpected bouts of vertigo affecting her daily life. But that has never stopped Ellen before, as she is a believer in the goodness of humanity.

"ELLEN BELIEVES IN MIRACLES," and is in need of one now more than ever!

Ellen has lived on the minimal disability allotment from social security while following the rules set forth for the maximum income she can produce from her reading since 1992. Starting March 1, 2024 her benefits will be complexly terminated and she is being required to pay back her stimulus check plus interest.

The amount of this fund requested represents what it will cost for Ellen to be able to keep a roof over her head, moving costs, and rehousing associated with such. Her hopes are to stay in her beloved village of Coconut Grove - which elected her "The Mango Strut Queen" in 1996. Once enough funds are raised, her dream is to buy a modular tiny home for herself and her beloved companion Emi.

Like many of you, Ellen has been a loving friend and positive source of energy for my family and I throughout our entire lifes. If you know Ellen, then you know she is a kind soul with a true heart.

Ellen would like to offer anyone who donates $100 or more a Secret Dakini Oracle reading at your convenience.

Your generosity, kindness and any financial support is greatly appreciated! Please share this post and spread the word to friends and other Grovites alike!

Thank you!
