Ellen Jordan

On May 28th, Ellen's son Cole got very sick during a visit with a friend in San Francisco.  He is dealing with an illness called "Acute Compartment Syndrome," and it is very serious.  He was in ICU for over 7 days and he is requiring dialysis a few times a week .  He is now somewhat abulatory - but walking is very painful and he is expected to be at the hospital for quite some time yet.
Please send prayers and tons of love to Cole and Family. Dylan has not left Coles side since it happened. Ellen and Dylan are driving to and from Sebastopol every day to the hospital in SF. Ellen spends all day at his side and Dylan spends every night with him that is not covered in shifts by other friends and family. Several scary things have happened with things going wrong with his oxygen in the middle of the night, and with the sort of hit and miss quality of nursing care, Ellen and her family family, are feeling very protective and unwilling to leave him alone at all now. Shani and Robin have both flown up to spent time with Cole and do overnight shifts with him. Dad is stuck in Sonoma County recovering from his own recent extensive foot surgery and is not allowed to walk so he is checking in with round the clock texts to Dylan and Mom for updates and is obviously worried sick.  The medical bills, lost wages, gas money for driving back and forth to SF from Sebastopol are piling up.  Her friends and family would humbly ask for some help for Ellen and her son. Those of you who know Ellen understand her generous spirit and loving energy. Her family could use some extra support from her community to help in this very dark time.
