Hello All! My name is Jenna and I’m the adult sister of Ellie Runyan.
Ellie, age 12, is scheduled to have surgery tomorrow, 6/7/19, due to a tumor located inside her spinal cord. This tumor has caused pain, scoliosis and a cyst in her spinal cord among other symptoms.
It has been over two long years of pain for Ellie and now we finally have a diagnosis and cause.
Money is being fundraised to help Ellie and her family with money for gas, food and other expenses that come with going back and forth from the hospital ect. Ellie comes from a large family with four siblings at home so any assistance the family could receive would be appreciated and be of much help.
If you know the Runyan family you also know that they are ALWAYS willing to lend a hand or are the first to say yes to helping someone in need. Now is our turn to return the love they have always shown.
Above all, please keep sweet Ellie and her family in your prayers. There are still a lot of unknowns regarding Ellie’s tumor at this time and the surgery is rare. Pray for peace, strength and healing.
Thanks to everyone who has prayed and supported so far!
I’ll leave you with a verse Ellie has posted on her Facebook page:
