Please help Ellie have her rainbow baby❤️

When Ellie was just three years old she was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia and as a result was treated at Great-Ormond street Hospital with Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy before a bone marrow transplant from her 10 month old baby brother. Since surviving cancer, Ellie has faced several late effects which have imposed several physical and emotional difficulties in her adolescent life, the most significant one of all being infertility. When Ellie was fifteen, she was given the devasting news that due to the treatment she was given as a child she would never have children of her own.

In 2022 at age 19 , when Ellie's ovarian reserve resembled that of a 55-year old woman she spontaneously fell pregnant. Sadly, when Ellie went for an ultrasound scan she was told that her baby had no heartbeat.

Just over a year later Ellie fell pregnant with her son Noah. Determined to have her baby Ellie was put on hormone treatment and underwent surgery at the beginning of the second trimester to help her maintain her pregnancy.

Sadly, on October 25th 2023 Ellie went into preterm labour in early hours of the morning and gave birth to her baby boy who was born too early to survive. After Ellie went through an emergency surgery to save her own life, Ellie spent the rest of the day in hospital with Noah.

After exhausting her options within the NHS, Ellie's only option is to self-fund fertility treatment which would enable her to become the mother she has always dreamed . However the cost of treatment Ellie requires is upwards of £20,000 as she is now unable to carry another pregnancy herself and requires a surrogate.
