The Ellie Sims Family Fund & Promoting Pedestrian Safety

The sweet Sims family tragically lost their beautiful daughter as she was walking home from the library on FSU’s campus during finals week. While crossing at a well-marked crosswalk, a hit-and-run occurred. Despite the heroic attempts of bystanders, Ellie passed away at the scene. She is beloved and survived by her parents, brother, and sister — and both her Franklin and FSU community.
