Ellie Sue Cancer Treatment

Hello,

I am Mikalie Lawless! My little sister, Bobbie is mama to sweet cheeks, Ellie Sue! Over the last few months Bobbie had noticed Ellie was not using her legs as much as she once was and she seemed to be in pain more and more often. After several misdiagnoses and a lot of advocating on Bobbie’s behalf, doctors ordered an MRI for Ellie. On August 22, 2022, Ellie was taken to the hospital for the MRI scan and the results were crushing. Ellie was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma on her spine. She has 1 large tumor wrapped around the lower half of her spine and spinal cord and a mass the size of an adult fist on her inner bottom spine. She was transported to Iowa City for emergency surgery and treatment. While she has some insurance, it will not cover the cost of everything. The funds raised here will go to treatment costs, hotels, food, gas, bills, really just anything so that Bobbie and Tom can focus on Ellie’s treatment and caring for big brother, Jameson. Sweet Cheeks is almost 8 months old and she’s already one of the strongest people ever. Anything donated is so greatly appreciated from the bottom of all our hearts.
