Ellie's GoFundMe

From Eureka, Montana, twelve year old Ellie, was in a serious motor vehicle accident and was very much hurt. She broke one femur through the skin and recieved a metal rod from her knee to her hip that would help stabilize her bones. Her surgery went well, and is expecting a full recovery, though it will be a long and hard process. She was life flighted from Michigan to Milwaukee Children's Hospital and will have to remain in Milwaukee Children's Hospital for a period of time so she can resume any further surgeries and rehabilitation. She had multiple lacerations to one side of her face, that she got from the glass. It is likely she will need more surgery for the scarring and once her leg is full healed, have the rod removed. Ellie's insurance will NOT cover any of her medical needs because she is out of the state of Montana. Both of her parents (Heather and Jeremy Guthrie) are currently out of town for work and are now both on their way to Milwaukee to be there with their beautiful daughter. Ellie's mother, Heather Guthrie, who has been working up in Alaska on fishing boats to provide for her children, will now be traveling back and forth from Alaska to Milwaukee I'm sure many times. Her father will stay in Michigan with Ellie while she continues to heal. I wanted to put this GoFundMe Site together so that any friends and/or family members can help support and finance Ellie through this difficult and painful time. The Guthrie family is extremely appreciative of everyone and their words of comfort through this difficult and stressful time right now.
