Elliot's Medical Bills
Donation protected
Elliott Owen Minter was born Friday, April 29, 2016 at 1:55pm weighing 6 pounds 10 ounces to Samantha and Mark Minter. Shortly after birth, his blood ozygen level began to drop. He was taken to the NICU and later that evening transfered to Minneapolis Children's Hospital where he was diagnosed with D-Transposition of the Great Vessels of the heart.
Doctors were able to stabilize him until he was 5 days old and then performed open heart surgey to correct his arteries with an Arterial Switch Operation. This surgery lasted 9 hours due to excessive bleeding. Elliot's heart is beating strong and he is showing his desire to beat this issue and go home to play with his 2 year old brother Camden.
Sam and Mark's family and friends have been very supportive during this time and have given them the strength to make it through this most difficult time. They have been able to stay at the Ronald McDonald House at Children's Hospital (which by the way is unbelievable!)
We as family have been asked by friends what they can do to help them out. First and most important is to remember Elliot in your prayers that his recovery goes well. And now if you wish to help them out with the ongoing costs associated with the hospital stay and the upcoming costs of the recovery time, any donation you make will be much appreciated.
