Elliott Hanson medical expenses

We are long-time friends of Elliott Hanson and his family. It is our hope that this Go Fund Me page will support the family with the increasing medical expenses that are ongoing.

As most of you know, Elliott is an 8th grade Social Studies teacher at Hiawatha Leadership Academy. He and his wife Kelsey have two children, Nora and Shea.

As you may or may not be aware, Elliott has been experiencing significant health issues over the past months, with lengthy hospital stays and costly tests and procedures. He was recently diagnosed with Adult Onset Still's Disease with macrophage activation syndrome and recently hospitalized for a second time. It is an extremely rare autoimmune disorder in which his immune system is attacking his whole body. The treatment is expensive and likely to be a long journey.

Elliott and his family's lives have been turned upside down with this unexpected diagnosis. Please consider supporting this wonderful family as they continue to navigate this difficult journey.
