Elliott Labanowski

Hi my name is Chrissie and I am the Parent of Elliott Labanowski. When I reached 20 weeks pregnancy we found that Elliott had a birth defect called Spina Bifida Myelomeningocele and Hydrocephalus. At 23+6 weeks pregnancy we had Fetal surgery to close the lesion on his spine to give him a better chance of quality of life. Elliott was born 16th November 2021 he was then diagnosed with other disabilities known as talipes, hip dysplasia and Arnold Chiari Malformation type two. Due to Elliotts circumstances he has very little chance of being mobile as he gets older so that is why I have set up a go fund me page so we can buy the equipment he will need to help become mobile or to give him comforts if he is a permanent wheelchair user. We are aiming to buy things such as a Bellas Bumbas wheelchair, Nimbo Posterior Posture Walker or things to modify our home to make it more fitting for him. We understand we are in a time of cost of living rising and all have our difficulties but it really would help us so much with getting him the help that he needs. If you have gotten this far please know that it has taken me so long to have the guts to do this I hate asking but it is at the point where we are now desperate
