Ellison Reece

This gofundme is set up to give my sister Amber, and her husband Payton, a little financial support as they navigate Ellison’s recovery and future treatments.

Whitney Cleghorn: My dearest friend, Amber Scealf Reece, has asked me to share what has taken place with her son, Ellison. Ellison was having recurring headaches and went in for a CT scan. The scan showed a mass located at the back of his head. A successful surgery was performed Sunday morning to remove the tumor. We had reached out to our church and friends to please pray for her sweet boy.

We want to thank all of you for your prayers and innumerable kindnesses. We also regret to share that initial pathology results have confirmed that Ellison's tumor contains tissue which will require him to have further treatments later to eliminate any microscopic stray cells and help prevent recurrence of any new lesions. Additional genetic studies of the tumor tissue by pathology will provide the best possible information to help the oncology team design the very best treatment plan for Ellison's victorious road to complete health. For the next couple of weeks, Ellison will be busy healing from surgery and regaining his strength. We will be working with Payton, Amber, Ellison, and Jesse to establish a process to keep you up to date on Ellison's progress. Many of you have asked, "How can we help?". We will be sharing more information about that soon. For now, just keep praying for Ellison, Jesse, Payton, and Amber. ❤️
