Ellis’s Kidney Surgery

Hi guys,
So I’ve never done this before but I need to help my sister, Alexandra Madden, in any way that I can. I can’t watch her suffer mentally and physically any longer. Some of you may know that she suffers from a very rare disease called Polycythemia Vera. It’s a slow growing blood cancer that creates too many red blood cells, therefore thickening your blood and creating clots. She was hospitalized a few years ago for about 20 days with clots in her legs, arms, and brain. We thought we were going to lose her, and the doctor called her a miracle. She gets her blood drawn frequently to prevent clots but now they say she needs a more aggressive treatment. She is at risk to so many complications and unfortunately we recently learned that she has to start taking chemo pills..
Some of you may also know that she welcomed her first child, my sweet nephew, Ellis into the world on April 26, 2018. She did suffer many complications during pregnancy and during/after her c section. But, he is by far the most adorable thing any of us have ever seen. He is such an incredible baby. I’d die for him. Sadly, he needs to have kidney surgery to remove a piece of his kidney and put a stent in, at almost 6 months old. They first found out about his kidney issue in ultrasound pictures. In addition to all of this, her chemo pills require that she stops nursing (which breaks her heart).
This has been a trying trying time for the family and I’m at a dead end. I’m a peacemaker, I hate it when there is anything I can’t fix. Though I do know that it’s in God’s hands and need to find peace in that. That being said, my sister is extremely stubborn and hates asking for help. I’m here to do it for her, because ever since the baby was born, they’ve been stacked up on medical bills and they’re expecting a lot more. This amount that I’m fundraising will possibly cover their current bills, Ellis’s surgery, and Alex’s chemo pills.
Anything you can contribute will help these absolute warriors. If you can’t, please pray for Alex, Jeremy, and Ellis Madden.
