Elly Smith Transplant Fund

Hi. My name is Jennifer Durham. I started this fundraiser on behalf of our friend, Elly Smith. Elly is kind and helpful to all who need her. She is not only our beloved friend, she is our baby sitter, our wedding planner, our shower thrower, our caterer, our second set of hands and our go-to for 2 am emergencies. Elly was recently diagnosed with autoimmune liver disease. By the time she was diagnosed, her condition was critical and she was put on the emergency transplant list. Elly will require 24 hour care for the next 4 months by a friend or family member while she recuperates. The financial burden on her family will be immense. I hope this fundraiser can help them with bills, gas and lodging as they will have to miss work to stay with her as well as travel back and forth to the hospital that is 2 hours away.
