Elohim's Fight Against Leukemia

Hello friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers, I invite you to join me in supporting a courageous 5-year-old girl who's battling acute lymphoblastic leukemia. I spent the summer living in Panama and became close with her parents, who work tirelessly to provide her with the vital medical care she needs to stay alive and healthy.

Every two weeks, one of her parents has to take time off work to bring her to the pediatric oncology clinic in David, Panama. The transportation alone costs $75, and the hospital fee amounts to $65.50 per day. Depending on her response to treatment, their stay could extend for several nights.

The cost of the medical fees is incredibly taxing on their family, which is exacerbated by one of the parents being unable to work and support their three other children while staying with their daughter in the hospital. I experienced firsthand the warmth and kindness this family exudes, and I want to give back.
