Elsa and Ramona Staff Support
Donation protected
Closing our doors at Elsa and Ramona has been difficult for us for so many reasons, but what worries us the most is the wellbeing of our incredible staff. Our team is truly special not only because of their warmth, talent, and skill; they are special because they are committed. Some staff--now laid off in order to be eligible for unemployment--have dedicated over ten years of service to our communities. Many others have been with us well over five years. It’s painful to see so many people we love struggle with finances when they should be worried only about their health.
It's difficult to ask for help during a time when so many other people are also suffering, but we have set up this fundraiser to help our team through this lean time. This emergency fund is for all of our staff--including each of our dedicated cleaners who come in every single morning and work hard to ensure we all have safe spaces to work and gather. Our gratitude for any contribution would be immense. Every penny will go to our staff to replace the tips and wages they cannot earn, and hopefully will provide some peace of mind during such an uncertain time.
We are so grateful to all of you for all of your support over the years. We love you all and hope to see you as soon as we are able to open to our friends and neighbors again.
