Elsa Yohannes and Family rebuild after house fire

Today, our dear friends Elsa, Thamas and Nahom got the call that their house was on fire. Within hours, the house they poured their savings into for over 30 years, the family home they built with all of its treasures and belongings, gone.

This family has meant so much to Rich, Hadley, Scarlett and me, Elsa was our nanny for over 3 years. She, Nahom and Thamas hold a special place in our hearts as our extended Chicago family. Many of you may know Elsa from Winnemac park or Pre-K pick up at St. Matthias. Nahom continues to excel in sports and academics at St. Ben's, always treating our girls as his little sisters.

Over the next several months, they will have to find a new place to live and work to rebuild their home. Your generosity is appreciated as they work through this tough time.
