Help an orphanage in El Salvador
Donation protected
Hi everyone!
I am proud Salvadorian that now lives in Toronto. I want your help raising funds for a cause that is dear to my heart. My family supports Hogar Natalia Siman, which is an orphanage for abandoned and/or orphaned girls in El Salvador.
This home is run by Carmelita nuns that love the children and are great to them and does not get support from the Government and functions only from donations. A lot of the time we have taken donations there and many times that we have gone there to help we have caught them at a moment in which it makes all the difference between purchasing things like school supplies or not.
The money goes 100% to the girls, no middleman. It will be used for:
- Food
- Maintenance of the home
- Basic necessities
- School supplies
- Utilities
As soon as the funds clear via Paypal, I will send them to my parents, who will exchange them for US$ (currency in El Salvador) and deliver them in person.
This is the fourth year I do this, and I love to keep my donors posted by showing you pictures and videos from the home and the time the donations are received, every year the girls have made us a card with their thanks and good wishes.
Every bit helps!
Thanks so much!
