As you all know what I have been going through all these years, living in out of the hospital, being diagnosed with: COPD..AFIB..CONGESTIVE HEART FAILURE..OVARIAN CANCER..and now my lungs that can barely even breath on their own! I am basically on bed rest most of the time and I have to be on oxygen 24 hours even to shower. I had never set an account for myself even through the struggles I've had for all these years! My dad was the one that took over when I got sick, but unfortunately he got tongue cancer which obviously devastated our family. As my family took over helping us as much as they could, they now can barely take care of themselves. I do not qualify for medicaid due to the amount I receive. Ironically enough most of it goes to my medicine. Yes, it is sort of a monopoly. Many people have asked this question before, but that's how it works. My medications don't get covered. I have to pay it as I have been for years. Many companies have helped me for years by supplying me with equipment for free including the oxygen company that was giving me oxygen tanks for 2 years. They could no longer do so. Just 2 of my Inhalers are 800, one being Symbicort and the other being Spiriva thats 380(which I have not been able to buy anymore because I now have to pay $450/month for my oxygen). After just finishing dealing with my dad's cancer, my mom falls and breaks her head and is now in rehab! Not to mention the owner has already started the process of evicting us. We do not have a place to go to since section 8 is not taking applications for the last year. It is truly very sad for me to come and say this...but we are falling apart. We dont have the money to move to a place and I can't stop taking my meds. So please, I'm asking for help. It would be profoundly appreciated. Anything, even 5 dollars adds up and may up our chances of finding a place to live.
