Help the Elsewhere Staff - Community Relief
Donation protected
As everyone now knows, the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic has turned NYC's hospitality and nightlife community on its head, and the city has mandated that all bars, restaurants, and music venues close their doors. Overnight, over 80+ of Elsewhere's hardworking employees suddenly have no work, and face an uncertain economic future. #SmallBusinessRelief
At Elsewhere, we've always been most proud of the sense of community we've built within our staff, who have worked hard for two years to create our little island of music & art. We think it's that love and commitment that radiates outward to our local community, and to the artists we host, and is what makes Elsewhere a unique & vibrant independent space in our city. At the end of the day, Elsewhere as a venue has no meaning itself without our dedicated and hardworking staff.
We're now in the unthinkable position of relying on the generosity of our local community to support our staff, and so we are humbly asking for your contributions to carry them through this period. We know this is a very challenging time for everyone, and so not everyone who visits and enjoys our venue will be able to contribute.
*** In an attempt to raise as much as possible, Elsewhere will be supporting this campaign by donating:
#1 - Largest contributor gets a lifetime pass to Elsewhere (600+ events / year)
#2 - 2nd largest contributor gets a free private party for 20
#3 - Largest contributors 3 - 10 will receive a 1-year pass
#4 - 10 other contributors will be randomly selected for a 1-year pass
#5 - Any contribution of $100+ gets a pitcher of spicy mango margaritas
#6 - Any contribution of $50+ gets an Elsewhere pin
If Elsewhere has become a part of your life over the past two years, if you've made great memories here, or met new friends & lovers within our walls, please consider making a donation to our staff. These are our friends and neighbors who greet you at the door, look after your belongings while you're dancing, make the show sound amazing, keep you safe, serve you strong drinks, and check in with you when you need help.
If you're unable to donate, please consider sharing this campaign with your friends and family!
We hope to be able to welcome you through our doors again soon, and doing whatever we can for the music community in the meantime.
Thank you,
Elsewhere Staff
