Our beloved Elsie recently passed away. Elsie was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend. She touched the lives of those around her and because of that, made them a better person. Elsie leaves behind her husband Joel, Alyssa (Kyle) Robinson, Mila (Grand daughter), Tawny, and Brandon (Erica) Dimaya.
Elsie's passing was sudden and unexpected. Death is hard to cope with but when someone passes away unexpectedly, it is that much harder. Elsie passed peacefully in her sleep, which brought comfort to her family. Elsie received a kidney transplant in February 2009. Unfortunately, her kidney started to fail a few years ago. Elsie was on the kidney donor list. She was on peritoneal dialysis daily for 12 hours. This was the new normal for Elsie, but she did it every night with no complaints.
We will miss Else's very infectious, contagious, and loud laughter. Akin to the sound of thunder. Her beautiful smile would light up the room and you would just loved being in her surrounding. Elsie had a big heart. She would not hesitate to help when someone reached out to her. She loved her family wholeheartedly.
We are all shocked and shattered by Elsie's loss and we were not prepared suddenly for the high cost of a funeral service and final internment in a mausoleum. We want to give Elsie the memorial she deserves, to honor her memory and say our last goodbyes.
Please consider donating if you are able to do so. We are so very grateful for every donation during this difficult time.
