14135 Support Eltham Fire Brigade

Eltham Fire Brigade (Eltham CFA) is a 100% volunteer run fire station serving the Eltham community and its surrounds. Established in 1926, Eltham CFA is the supporting brigade to neighbouring brigades responding to fires, gas leaks, floods and rescue. On average, Eltham CFA responds to over 200 emergency calls every year.

The brigade is located in the heart of Eltham on Main Road, conveniently located to support the unique township. Eltham’s mix of urban and bush environments means that a threat of bushfire is very real.

Our volunteers rely on donations to effectively run the brigade and to be able to support our community. Your donation is used to benefit the local community as well as enhancing the safety of our firefighters. Eltham CFA also uses these funds to support the acquisition of additional equipment such as vehicles, other life saving tools and fire station improvements.

A part of your donation will go towards helping to purchase a new Breathing Apparatus Support Vehicle (BA Support). The BA Support carries the compressed air cylinders that our firefighters use when operating and this vehicle is also used to assist other Brigades in Nillumbik, Diamond Valley and wider CFA areas. The BA Support may travel to anywhere in Victoria to assist with larger fires or incidents. Given the age of our current BA Support vehicle, it is crucial that Eltham CFA updates this vehicle.
