ElTrain's Cornea Transplant

Hello, my name is Cynthia Foster. I'm trying to raise money for my husband (Elgin "ElTrain" Foster).
Elgin was diagnosed with an eye disease called Keratoconus a few years ago, and it has since rapidly progressed. While there are other treatment options for milder cases, his doctor explained that Elgin's only option at this point is a cornea transplant.
Elgin's only been on the transplant list for about two months, so we were surprised when they called on May 3rd to come in the next week for the surgery. However, we were unable to accept it because of finances. Since the surgery will take place out of town, and he would have to stay a few days for follow-up, we are trying to raise money for travel and hotel expenses (gas, vehicle maintenance such as routine oil changes and emergency vehicle maintenance, food, and hotel stay). The money will also be used for travel expenses for mandatory follow-up visits every two weeks, which will also take place out of town for up to a year.
