Elva asked that anyone that could help, instead of flowers or plants if they could help the family by donating to help us with her medical bills.

In the last couple weeks Elva and I spoke a lot about several things. One of the things we spoke about was that she wanted to be cremated and whether she wanted to have any Services held and she was adamant about saying no. No services and no flowers, as odd as that may sound that's what she told me she wanted. In the past she was always very uncomfortable with services she would get depressed and sad about those that she had cared for. She always liked it for people just to be sharing stories and laughing and listening to music and celebrating somebody's life, and she never thought that services brought that out.

One of the things that really hurt her is that she felt really bad about leaving the family in such a financial crisis with all the expenses that we had while she was in the hospital and with all the medical bills so she asked me to pass along to everyone this.

She asked that anyone that could help, instead of flowers or plants if they could help the family by donating to help us with the medical expenses. I would normally not even mention this but I did tell her, in fact, I promised her that I would do this. So for Elva if you could open your heart and instead of flowers or plants, help us in this way. And no way do I expect this from anyone but the family would really appreciate the help. Thank you for listening and considering but mostly thank you for loving Elva.
