Elvin's Sr. Brain tumor recovery

Hi, my name is Elvin Lindo Jr and I am writing on behalf of my dad Elvin Lindo Sr. He is a 76 year old man, who was blessed and filled with so much life. The lord has kept him in such good health up until now. He was diagnosed with a cancerous massive stage 4 tumor on his brain, the size of a small apple. Indeed surgery was needed to remove the growth and was very successful, thanks to God using Dr. Daniel Zumofen and his fantastic team at Maimonides Hospital in Brooklyn, NY. Unfortunately, the doctor didnt want to dig too deep into the brain because that may cause speech and mobile skills deficiency. So they left pieces of the tumor behind in hopes that chemo and radiation will resolve the remaining issues. Thank God he made it through surgery but now its time to start the recovery journey through rehabilitation. He now needs occupational therapy, speech therapy, physical therapy, radiation therapy, chemotherapy and most important Gods therapy is what is needed for this bumpy road that lies ahead. My father tried his best to live a healthy clean life with no smoking, no drinking, but now he needs additonal finances to help cover the cost of his medical expenses. As everything is not covered by insurance. One example, he is currently staying at a rehabilitation center in Brooklyn that only covers 20 days and after that it become $196 dollars a day out of pocket. So an additional 42 days after the 20 days is over $ 8,000 and this recovery process is going to be well over that amount but hopefully not in jesus name lol. My father will also need home health care once he gets back home. I must say, he is in good spirits because this definitely brought him closer to the lord. My fathers story reminds me of the book of Job in the Bible. When the devil was enquiring about one of God's most faithful servant Job. The devil felt that Job's faithfulness to God was only because he was protected and blessed. So God allowed the devil to test Job to prove that Job was a man of faith and he will never curse God no matter the trials or testings that he faced ( Job 2 vs 1-13). I know its very hard but one of the fruits of the spirit is to find joy during long-suffering and because of that, I know all will be well because I can do all things through christ that strengthens me, Philippians 4:13.
