Elvis Bill McCoy memorial fund
Donation protected
Many people knew Elvis Bill over the years. He was a charismatic, boisterous, in your face type person and was not easy to forget once you met him. Bill had such a great impact on the tattoo industry and was respected by so many. He always said “ I’m not famous, I’m infamous.” which was so true. We all have our own stories and own experiences with him weather they were good or not so pleasant. He was not perfect by any means but he was him. He was The King. He was Elvis Bill.
Bill had been sick for quite some time and had been unable to work for the past 6 months. Him and his wife Tavia own North Town Tattoo in Las Vegas and needless to say with his declining health they started falling behind on bills for their home and business. All funds donated will go towards helping the family with cremation costs, catching up on the shops bills, and helping his wife during these sad times. Elvis loved the tattoo industry and his shop is the last part of his legacy. He was so proud and so happy to have this last tattoo shop and we want to do everything we can to keep that alive for him. We appreciate any help during this time.
William “Elvis Bill” McCoy II passed away peacefully in his sleep on the morning of 1-8-22 in his home. He is survived by his wife Tavia, his 4 children ( Michael, Cassandra, William III, Virginia) , his 15 grandchildren, 5 siblings ( Margo , Andy, Toby, Chuck, Patti), countless others and of course his tattoo family. He always said “ ink is thicker than blood” and be considered so many of you his family.
He did not want a funeral or for people to mourn him. He wanted to be celebrated and remembered. The family is going to plan a celebration of life for him in the spring when the weather will allow us all to be outside and safe. Thank you all so much.
