Help my family escape death in Gaza

"Hello everyone, this campaign has been suspended due to an issue with fundraising withdrawals. My friend David from America has created a campaign from the US via this link."
Hello, my name is Tareq Ayad, a Palestinian living in Gaza. I find myself forced to seek help in a critical and urgent situation that befell me and my family members in Gaza. Our horrific experiences include witnessing the devastation, death and hunger of countless families, friends and neighbours.
My family, consisting of 13 members including my married brother Saadi and his two children (9 adults and 4 children), faced a series of painful challenges. In 2021, some lost their homes and moved to Tal al-Hawa, only to be bombed in October 2023. After intense bombing, we took refuge in a rented house after October 7, but the continuing attacks forced us to move to southern Gaza.
On Friday, October 13, 2023, we fled under fire, leaving everything behind. We were then evacuated to multiple locations, including Nuseirat camp, Deir al-Balah, al-Zawaida and Hanyounis al-Mawasi, desperately searching for a safe haven. Unfortunately, our neighborhood in northeastern Gaza is in ruins, under constant bombardment, with no one allowed to return.
After months of continuous movement and multiple evacuations, we find ourselves divided between Rafah and Deir al-Balah, and both areas remain under the threat of constant bombardment. As our struggle deepened, our family business, specializing in painting and building maintenance, in northeastern Gaza was abandoned and suffered severe damage. While some family members were working online, the lack of a stable internet connection and a safe working environment led to them losing their entire income.
Despite all the difficulties of life, my little child, Alaa, insisted on feeding the young dogs who cannot find food to eat. The dogs were given birth to by their mothers in the back of the UNRWA refugee agency’s shelter center in Deir al-Balah.
We are currently facing the harsh reality of having no homes, no reliable source of food or water, no medicine, no work, and living under the constant threat of fires and bombing. The entire Gaza Strip is considered unsafe, making access to food and safe water a daily challenge. The lack of proper facilities has led to the consumption of non-potable water, posing additional health risks.
The situation is further complicated by the fact that my family includes children of all ages, and children who are under the age of two are particularly vulnerable due to the scarcity of basic child needs such as formula, medicines and supplies. In addition, my father needs medicine for chronic diseases, and my brother Suhail, who is short in stature and cannot escape the bombing quickly because of his condition, urgently needs a small surgery. However, the destruction of Gaza's healthcare system has left us without access to basic medical care. The educational scene also suffered, as most schools and universities were completely destroyed. Children do not have schools to attend, and elderly people do not have universities to pursue higher education.
In this context, they must be saved from this terrifying situation ، We are working to evacuate them to a safer place outside the Gaza Strip.
However, the path to security is fraught with financial challenges.
Which puts the entire financial burden on my family. This includes covering travel and accommodation costs during the paperwork in Cairo, flight tickets for all 13 family members, and initial settlement expenses, such as rent, furniture and other living costs.
Gazans were asked to pay an average of $7,000 per person to allow us to exit Gaza. Airline tickets are approximately $1,300 per person (we have not decided to go to which country. Thinking about traveling to Egypt and leaving Gaza first and then deciding from there) in addition to the expenses necessary to stay in Cairo for a few weeks, including (issuing a replacement for lost documents from the embassy While waiting for the visa application procedures, it is possible that we can go to Germany because there are relatives of my father there.
Which will bring the average cost per person to $10,300. A total of $133,900.
My family consists of 13 members
My mother Abeer Ayad, my father Alaa Ayad, my brothers and their children are as follows:
• My father, Alaa Ayad, his wife and four children.
1. Yara
2. Muhammad
3. Jasmine
4. Yahya
• I am Tariq Ayyad, my wife Aya and two children. Alaa and Rose
• Saadi Ayyad, his wife Sarah and two children. Zechariah and Joseph
• Suhail Ayyad is a disabled person, short in stature
The seriousness of the situation cannot be overstated. Time is of the essence, and every moment without intervention risks more bloodshed and loss of life.
Your willingness to listen to my family's plight is deeply appreciated. The actual situation is more challenging than words can convey, and Palestinian voices often struggle to be heard, making it difficult to raise awareness and mobilize support.
At this critical moment, on behalf of my family, I earnestly implore the kindness of all sympathetic individuals. Your support can be the beacon of hope that guides my family from the most dangerous place in the world towards a new and safe life.
Thank you for your unwavering support and understanding during this difficult time. Your contribution means not only a new life for my family, but also compassion and solidarity for justice and the preservation of human lives.
