Kidney transplant & the fun fixens that go along,

Donation protected
I'm going to try and do an update when I am able to so come back often and share often so this priceless Sapphire can continue to sparkle. Updates below next paragraph:
My beautiful daughter Arayl Sapphire is A+ and needs a kidney transplant, and donor who is loving enough to donate their kidney to her that is either A+, A-, O+, or O- please help us save her life.
She is such a joy to be around, she's feisty, spunky, and playful. She always knows when you need a hug and gives the best ones that can wash all your stresses and overwhelming feelings away, her laughter can bring joy to even the grumpest of hearts. https://youtube.com/watch?v=SotHjsNXQTQ&feature=share I didn't mean for this reel to end the way it did, but it's very impactful that it did as you see the joy that she brings and the end how the work that keeps the joy going showing how worth it, it all is. This shows that even special needs people make a huge impact everywhere they go.
Update November 11 2023
I am sorry it's been 3 months since my last update, Arayl hasn't been doing well and she was all I wanted to focus on. I'm hoping to get back to my updates soon, however Arayl still isn't doing the best.

Update July 23 2023
Arayl got her daily medications (5 in the morning and 7 at night), 5 catheterizations, her 1 enema, 6 feedings, and 1,900 ml water. Today I'm just keeping Arayl cool and making sure she doesn't overheat.
Update July 22 2023
Arayl got her daily medications (5 in the morning and 7 at night), 5 catheterizations, her 1 enema, 6 feedings, and 1,900 ml water. Arayl's still not feeling her best.

I may have a problem, yes we are Americans who are stuck in Israel unable to move. I am trying to save my daughter's life, my American IDs are expired because the embassy is impossible to work with thanks to Benghazi and the other attacks on the US embassies. But I am using my American savings account for the GFM and my sister wants to save her niece's life so yes I am using her address. My only goal is to save my daughter's life, I am overwhelmed with trying to find a loving kidney donor so please pray GFM has a heart and cares enough not to hold the two small things against us.

Update July 21 2023
Arayl got her daily medications (5 in the morning and 7 at night), 5 catheterizations, her 1 enema, 6 feedings, and 1,900 ml water. Arayl wasn't feeling too well so I spent the next two days cuddling her.

Arayl got her daily medications (5 in the morning and 7 at night), 5 catheterizations, her 1 enema, 6 feedings, and 1,900 ml water. Even though she's on a night schedule I still need a brake so I had coffee and dinner with a gentleman friend.
Update July 18 2023
Arayl got her daily medications (5 in the morning and 7 at night), 5 catheterizations, her 1 enema, 6 feedings, and 1,900 ml water. For this week and the rest of the heat wave, I'm putting Arayl on a nighttime schedule where she sleeps during the day in a cool dark room with AC and is up during the night when it's not dangerously hot for her. She doesn't get sick this way!
Update July 17 2023
Arayl got her daily medications (5 in the morning and 7 at night), 5 catheterizations, her 1 enema, 6 feedings, and 1,900 ml water. There is going to be a heat wave this week so I will be watching Arayl closely as she tends to overheat and end up with UTIs, (urinary tract infections) the nephrologist has made it clear one more UTI, and her kidneys are finished! So this time is dangerous for Arayl.
Update July 16 2023
Arayl got her daily medications (5 in the morning and 7 at night), 5 catheterizations, her 1 enema, 6 feedings, and 1,900 ml water. Arayl wanted her hair dyed red again so I spent the day bleaching,
bathing, dying
and bathing Arayl

Arayl got her daily medications (5 in the morning and 7 at night), 5 catheterizations, her 1 enema, 6 feedings, and 1,900 ml water. I had to go to the pharmacy to get Aray's food and medicine along with doing the weekend shopping so Ethan cared for Arayl most of the day.

Update July 11 2023
Arayl got her daily medications (5 in the morning and 7 at night), 5 catheterizations, her 1 enema, 6 feedings, and 1,900 ml water. Spent the day cleaning so we could put the new refrigerator in a clean spot and waiting for it to be delivered, however it didn't fit in the refrigerator spot in the kitchen so I put it in the dining room.

Arayl got her daily medications (5 in the morning and 7 at night), 5 catheterizations, her 1 enema, 6 feedings, and 1,900 ml water. Spent the day getting rid of the UFOs (unidentified food objects) from the old refrigerator and moved it out to the front ready to be gotten rid of.

Arayl got her daily medications (5 in the morning and 7 at night), 5 catheterizations, her 1 enema, 6 feedings, and 1,900 ml water. My computer is being very slow and has frozen twice so I have to keep redoing my updates. Here are two beautiful pictures of Arayl smiling, the second one is her waiting for a VCUG at the hospital.
Update July 08 2023
Arayl got her daily medications (5 in the morning and 7 at night), 5 catheterizations, her 1 enema, 6 feedings, and 1,900 ml water. I haven't had time for anything else today as all Arayl has done is throw up.
Update July 07 2023
Arayl got her daily medications (5 in the morning and 7 at night), 5 catheterizations, her 1 enema, 6 feedings, and 1,900 ml water. Today I had to leave Arayl with Ethan because I had to take Jazzy to see the doctor as she has fainted three times now. After the doctor's appointment, we had to stop at the pharmacy to get Arayl's food.
Update July 06 2023
Arayl got her daily medications (5 in the morning and 7 at night), 5 catheterizations, her 1 enema, 6 feedings, and 1,900 ml water. Another day of leaving Arayl with Ethan to go refrigerator hunting. We were blessed to find a new refrigerator and it was only 1,000 more than I wanted to spend, but to keep Arayl's medication from going bad I think it was worth it.
I also want to thank the Shapiro family for their loving donation of 108 bringing it to a total of 248 being donated to help us save Arayl's life.
Update July 05 2023
Arayl got her daily medications (5 in the morning and 7 at night), 5 catheterizations, her 1 enema, 6 feedings, and 1,900 ml water. I left Arayl with Ethan so I could price around and buy a new refrigerator because the old one is giving up its ghost.
If you look it's so old that I had to replace the broken shelves with garden fences and the broken door is held on with metal shelf hook and screw.
Update Happy 4th Of July
Arayl got her daily medications (5 in the morning and 7 at night), 5 catheterizations, her 1 enema, 6 feedings, and 1,900 ml water. We made some baked chicken and celebrated today.
Update July 03 2023
Arayl got her daily medications (5 in the morning and 7 at night), 5 catheterizations, her 1 enema, 6 feedings, and 1,900 ml water. Arayl had the day clinic at the hospital today. Wow, that was a first for her as she fell asleep at the hospital.
She was let go from the hospital at around 2 pm then we went to the pharmacy and headed home where her siblings were getting their hair done with trims and dyes by a hairdresser who is trying to start a business and yes I got a much-needed trim too.
Update July 02 2023
Arayl got her daily medications (5 in the morning and 7 at night), 5 catheterizations, her 1 enema, 6 feedings, and 1,900 ml water. Like every time, when Arayl knows she has the day clinic, she doesn't want to sleep, so as normal we were up awake all night with her.
Update July 01 2023
Arayl got her daily medications (5 in the morning and 7 at night), 5 catheterizations, her 1 enema, 6 feedings, and 1,900 ml water.
Update June 30 2023
Arayl got her daily medications (5 in the morning and 7 at night), 5 catheterizations, her 1 enema, 6 feedings, and 1,900 ml water. I know I don't talk much about our day, I am trying to stick to one to two sentences per day. Yes I do home-school Arayl and yes I do have two other teens besides Arayl so my days are full and it's hard to get back here daily, so thank you for understanding if I'm a bit slow in my updates on her. Here's one of my favorite videos of Arayl, she was about a month old https://youtube.com/watch?v=N9_yV59URyQ&feature=share
Update June 29 2023
Arayl got her daily medications (5 in the morning and 7 at night), 5 catheterizations, her 1 enema, 6 feedings, and 1,900 ml water. Arayl was finally feeling good enough to play with us and talk our heads off with her "I'm going to get get get you..." cuteness
Here's an old video of her playing with the cat
Update June 28 2023
Arayl got her daily medications (5 in the morning and 7 at night), 5 catheterizations, her 1 enema, 6 feedings, and 1,900 ml water. And today was another day of her not feeling well.
Update June 27 2023
Arayl got her daily medications (5 in the morning and 7 at night), 5 catheterizations, her 1 enema, 6 feedings, and 1,900 ml water. Today she wasn't feeling her best so I let her sleep most of the day with only waking her for her medical care, I did my best to clean her up from throwing up without waking her..
Update June 26 2023
Arayl got her daily medications (5 in the morning and 7 at night), 5 catheterizations, her 1 enema, 6 feedings, and 1,900 ml water. Today I finally cut Arayl's hair because once again she dreadlocked it. Ethan, Arayl's brother thought I had dyed Arayl's hair black. Nope that's her real hair color.
(photo from day clinic, but you get the point.)
Update June 25 2023
Arayl got her daily medications (5 in the morning and 7 at night), 5 catheterizations, her 1 enema, 6 feedings, and 1,900 ml water. Jazzy went to sell her art sweet kid so we could get Arayl some food as the large can only give us two and a half days' worth of feedings.
Update June 24 2023
Arayl got her daily medications (5 in the morning and 7 at night), 5 catheterizations, her 1 enema, 6 feedings, and 1,900 ml water. I did Arayl's hair as she likes to dreadlock her hair if it's down.
Update June 23 2023
Arayl got her daily medications (5 in the morning and 7 at night), 5 catheterizations, her 1 enema, 6 feedings and 1,900 ml water. Slept when I wasn't caring for Arayl.
Update June 22 2023
Arayl got her daily medications (5 in the morning and 7 at night), 5 catheterizations, her 1 enema, 6 feedings, and 1,900 ml water. Stayed at home giving Arayl her normal care along with her by-weekly blood pressure being taken (she hates having the BP taken). 125/90, 122/85 and 120/82 we take it three times to get the best read out.
Update June 21 2023
Arayl got her daily medications (5 in the morning and 7 at night), 5 catheterizations, her 1 enema, 6 feedings, and 1,900 ml water. Had to once again leave Arayl with Ethan for a parent/teacher meeting at Jazzy's school. And Rebecca donated 20 cash thank you.
Update June 20 2023
Arayl got her daily medications (5 in the morning and 7 at night), 5 catheterizations, her 1 enema, 6 feedings, and 1,900 ml water. I left Arayl with Ethan when I went to the pharmacy to get her her feeding tube food for a week of food, (164 pharmacy PediaSure, 250-400 depending on where I buy it at Nutren Jr) but the pharmacy didn't have it so I got the powdered formula then went to the store for diaper wipes 44.90 and diapers 79.90 (18 diapers in one bag)
If the pharmancy doesn't have either foods I get the powdered formula...
Update June 19 2023
Arayl got her daily medications (5 in the morning and 7 at night), 5 catheterizations, her 1 enema, 6 feedings, and 1,900 ml water. I forgot to write that yesterday Arayl was really mesmerized by the elevators at the hospital.
Update June 18 2023
Arayl got her daily medications (5 in the morning and 7 at night), 5 catheterizations, her 1 enema, 6 feedings, and 1,900 ml water. Arayl had the day clinic at the hospital today like with everyday clinic the labs (blood and pee) are done along with vitals then a rundown of all the medications, feedings and how much water she gets, catheters, and enemas done between the day clinics. She's finally gaining weight 31.4 kg = 69 lbs 3 oz, but I'm not really sure it's a good thing as I think it's water retention.
Update June 17 2023
Arayl got her daily medications (5 in the morning and 7 at night), 5 catheterizations, her 1 enema, 6 feedings, and 1,900 ml water. Arayl getting catheterized every three hours has been a lot, will I today I fell asleep while doing a catheter and didn't make a mess shockingly. After I was done the little dickens stole my bed!
Tomorrow she has day clinic at the hospital. May we only have good news. If you want to follow her prayer page https://www.facebook.com/Giggly.Arayl?mibextid=ZbWKwL please do.
Update June 16 2023
Arayl got her daily medications (5 in the morning and 7 at night), 5 catheterizations, her 1 enema, 6 feedings, and 1,900 ml water. Jazzy was spending time with Arayl and got thrown up on. They were watching movies together and Arayl really gets into them warning everyone when something is going to happen, The Terminator is Arayl's favorite movie right now so she asks for it daily. Jazzy wants to share this picture of them together as kids.
I was thankful the kids spent time together today, I was finally able to get to the pharmacy to get some of her medicine, urine catheters, and enema catheters along with a bit of food shopping done. As you saw when Jazz was talking about spending time with Arayl she threw up on Jazz, Arayl does that almost daily so food gets expensive.
I want to thank Michel Portable for starting with the first cash donation of 100 and Rachel for the second donation of 20 cash.
